This is probably the most beautiful necklace I own. The workmanship is outstanding, and it is even prettier than it appeared in Michelle's Etsy store. It was packaged very well, and was even in a lovely organza jewelry bag, which will keep it nicely protected in my jewelry box. It was shipped promptly, and arrived two days sooner than I expected. I have other pieces by Southpaw Creations, and they are all beautifully made. Michelle does not disappoint!

Out of chaos a Soft Paw creates meaning and beauty!

I have done crafts since I was a little girl. I've always loved making things and giving them away. Over time I've tried just about every craft out there. I've found many I'm good at and enjoy, and I've found many that i have absolutely NO talent for. When I became disabled, my family took a financial hit and we had to cut a lot of corners. I began making Christmas and birthday (etc) gifts to give friends and family members as a way to save a little money, but also because I believe I give a piece of myself with every item I create, so I was giving a gift of love.

I watch these reality TV shows where the people have created a business doing what they love--antiques, restorations, etc. I think they are the luckiest people to be able to support themselves and have fun at work everyday! A friend recommended I post my creations on ETSY and maybe I could make a living doing what I love. Well, I definitely haven't made a living creating jewelry and other accessories. I continue to put my love and creativity into each item, and I love sharing my designs with the world.

The world is stressful and hectic for everyone. We push our way through to get to the finish line. Making jewelry requires a soft touch. So, my shop became Softpawcreations.
